2nd Team Captain - Alex Sandland

The 2nd Team are hoping to build further on the relative successes of a 4th place finish in 2023. The 2s are blessed with an enviable chemistry... with experienced and canny "legends", talented and enthusiastic youngsters, allied to various match winning inbetweeners. A strong 2nd Team necessarily makes for a successful 1st Team. The depth of the 3rd Team is also encouraging. Our word for the season is "opportunity".

We welcome 4 new teams to our league. Hale Barns, NE Cheshire, Oxton and Davenham. All of whom will be ambitious. Oakmere and CBH also provided us tough challenges from last season.

The key lies in a stronger start and winning tosses in April/May. Last year we failed to register a victory until match week 5.
