Templepatrick Cricket Club Under 11 coaches, Claire Campbell and Rebecca McCrea have very kindly decided to raise money for club youth cricket by taking on the 9 mile walking section of the Belfast Marathon on May Day Monday.
The two ladies decided the cause was a good one last year as they worked with the P1 and P2 boys and girls groups at the club and saw how much fun the kids were having. They felt would like to play their part in providing even more equipment to make sure there is plenty to go around, so that every child gets as much opportunity as possible. Additional money raised will be going towards a defibrillator for everyone who attends The Cloughan to ensure all bases are covered in providing a safe environment.

Claire and Rebecca are again looking forward to successful Under 11 Wednesday night cricket sessions starting in early May and are both currently clocking up the miles on the road and training in the gym.
