(b)The use of the word Annual General Meeting or A.G.M within these rules shall be taken to mean the Annual General Meeting of the memberships of the club.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE MET CLUB

(a) Shall be to play cricket in accordance with the rules and by-laws of the game of cricket.

(b) The emphasis of “the met club or met line”, will be to install a fair play “rotation” policy of players regardless of ability on friendly fixtures. For League games strongest available team will be selected.

(d) To promote playing activities and social activities for members of the club.

(e) The founding members Abdul Fazil Khan and Mohammed Shafique Saddique adhere to these rules as will the members who have been “invited” to be committee members, we expect no less from player members of “the met club or met line”.

(f) Meetings of the committee shall be called by the founding members and will be held at least twice a year (more if required).

(g) The A.G.M will be held at least once a year.

(h) The duties of the manager is to run the day to day affairs of the club and make decisions in the best interest of the club including selection of teams on league/cup days, the founding members will oversee all the conducts of the committee, The founding members reserve the right to invoke a vote of no confidence if any committee member or player member who does not adhere to the club policy and ethos.
(I) the role of the captain is to assist the manager by undertaking the efficient management of team selection and on field team affairs in accordance with “the met club or met line” fair play rotation policy. He shall also undertake other duties as are commensurate with the position. He will have full control on the day of each game.

(h) A meeting of the committee shall be considered to have a quorum when three committee members are in attendance.

(I) the committee shall have the power to appoint any member to fill a position within the officers and to appoint the captain.
