Preperations for the new season are well under way, and at the helm for Mynydd Tigers Seniors this year are a new management team. There are a lot of changes for the team this year, including a new home pitch and top notch facilities at Bethesda Rugby Club, a potential name change to Ogwen Tigers, which will hopefully be signed off this week by the NWCFA, and as mentioned, a new management set up.
Tigers new Manager, Mike Williams has played for the team since the club first formed in 2017, and was the captain of the team that won the Anglesey league in the 2017/18 season, the first team based off the Island to win the trophy.
Mike`s assistant managers are Rhys Williams and Paul Feaver and the three of them share something very much in common, they are all related. Rhys is Mikes` father, Paul is Mikes` uncle and brother in law to Rhys.
All three also share something else in common, they are working hard to get the team ready for what promises to be a challenging season ahead in the Gwynedd League, with pre season training already three weeks in, and a raft of friendlies planned throughout July and early August, the first of which is away against Valley on Saturday 6th July, 2.30 kick off.
