Two goals in the final minute, saw Tilbury leave Cambridgeshire with the 3 points and moved up to 3rd in the league.
Tilbury made 3 changes to there line up, after Monday's disappointing defeat. Charlie Yexley, Sam Keefe and Joe Burgess started in the place of Ryan Boswell, John Easterford and Ola Ogunwamide.
It was a quiet opening from both sides and took until the 14th minute for the first effort of the afternoon. A Tilbury corner fell to Lee Burns at the back post, who volleyed against the bar. A minute later Eljay Worrell was played in, but his effort was blocked. Histon's Danny Gould went close on 29 when his rasping effort just dipped over. Worrell was in the thick of the action, seeing his corner, nearly headed in by defender Chivers, before the resulting corner cleared off the line, as it looked like it was going in.
Histon looked stronger after the break with Dan Brown breaking before striking over.
On 70 David Knight was brought down just inside the box, but his penalty was saved by Peachey and away to safety.
On 71 Knight was again close, when a Yexley cross was met on his head, but Peachey made another fine save to keep his side in the game.
The key moment of the game fell on 72 when a cross from the right was met by the head of Ed Rolph, who saw Joe Osaghae make a fantastic save, before the follow was again well saved.
Both sides pushed for a goal, but both defences were holding firm. With a minute to go, Ed Rolph saw his free header go just wide.
With 90 minutes on the clock, a throw from the left, was met by the head of Sam Keefe, the ball came down to David Knight who flicked his shot onto the post, before bundling the ball in, to the disappointment of the Histon defenders, as they felt a push was made on the lead up to the goal.
From the kick off, the ball was feed back to Osaghae who sent a long ball down to Brian Moses who steered the ball to substitute Ola Ogunwamide to get his left foot to the ball to steer it home.
