Interested in playing senior football for Tonbridge Angels 1st Team or U21 Development Side? The communication below will tell you what you need to do.

Thank you for contacting Tonbridge Angels FC regarding joining for the 2018-19 season. All trial requests are passed to me for assessment, from there we can make decisions on whether we can invite you to trial with us. Anyone interested in joining Tonbridge Angels will only be invited to join the U21s squad at first and then will be passed through to the first team based on our assessment either through pre season training and matches or throughout the season. During season 2017-18 we passed a number of players through into first team training sessions for assessment by the first team management. Luciano Osbourne and Andrew Sesay have both broken through into the first team squad and should feature with them throughout 2018-19 season. We also have a number of players that have been part of the first team over the last two seasons including Liam Smith, Callum Adonis-Taylor, Jack Fenton and Dom Welsh. All of these players broke through from the U18s of season 2016-17.

Tonbridge Angels have now put in solid foundations for promoting youth players through to our first team and look to continue this in season 2018-19. Breaking in to the first team may take longer for some players than others and we look to work with players with the potential to break through either in the coming season or over the next few seasons. We promote good values within the game and look for players that have the desire, determination and professional attitude to train and learn with us.

We now have a number of youth teams below us to draw potential players from and therefore the trial process for any new players will be relatively tough and only the players with the attributes above will be considered to join our squad.

If you think you have what it takes to make it at Tonbridge Angels then I will be more than happy to invite you to train with us throughout pre season and we will be holding a trialist match before we enter our pre season friendly schedule.

Training starts on Tuesday 19th June at 7pm and then again on Thursday 21st June at 7pm. We will then continue to train every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the season unless matches are scheduled on these days.

I would also request if possible that you can send me some information on your previous clubs. This will include your last 3 clubs and the dates you played for the clubs and manager names and phone numbers if possible. This information may be used to get a reference and will assist you in getting ahead of others in the trial process.
