Fan owned clubs are being seen by many in the industry as the next step forward to keep your fans involved with the club they love, but do they have a future? I spent 3 months working with Tonbridge Angels FC, a fan-owned club in the Bostik Premier, documenting how they manage to keep the floodlights on without a majority shareholder, and if the structure they implement has a future in the higher leagues of English football. This was made by Max Meads as a final year project for his BA Journalism course at the University of Kent.
