The Trethomas Bluebirds Reserve side currently lie 7th in the Newport and District Y Division. Alun Griffiths could rightly feel that they deserve to be higher. They have a plus 21 goal difference second only to the top two clubs in the League .
In their last two league games they lost 2-1 to League leaders Caerleon at home and 3-2 away to 4th placed Pontymister. In the Caerleon game they were by far the better team , whilst the Pontymister game could easily have been won .
This weeks trip to Villa Dino is a 6 pointer as both clubs find themselves on 12 points apiece. String will be anxious to get his side back to winning ways.
