it's derby day today as we host, neighbours Wingate FC.
After last weeks 13 goal thriller we are hoping for another great game this morning.
Kick off
Wingate start the better of the two teams as we haven't managed to get going all over the pitch.
20 - its no surprise when Wingate score, however we presented them with a gift of a chance. GOAL 0-1.
21 - We level immediately, all be it with a massive stroke of good fortune as Mark Foreman lobs the keeper from 25 yards, the balls going wide as Wingate's back peddling keeper manages to flick the ball into his own net. GOAL 1-1.
The games a stalemate to half time.
Half time
no subs made for the Vets.
Second half.
42 - like our first goal conceded this is another error as Vets keeper Dean Dodsworth can only palm an innocuous cross into the area into the feet of Wingate's forward who prods the ball home. GOAL 1-2.
44 - Vets man of the match takes a corner from the right hand side, its delivered into the back post and into the back of the net, unsure how as there were bodies on the line. GOAL 2-2.
46 - Brendan Campbell makes way for Chris Coverdale a she returns after an injury and a lengthy spell out.
64 - Garry Summerson makes way for Anthony Saiger.
76 - Chris Barber makes way for Colin Wharton to creep nearer to his 400th appearance for the Vets.
80 - Full time.
The games a draw, probably the right result as both teams didn't really perform their potential today.
Vets man of the match - chosen by todays opposition - Karl Malarky.
