The season is now underway in earnest, and this Sunday sees the return of a perennial favourite fixture against Beddington’s Sunday XI.

Trinity Oxley faced a tricky start to their 2023 campaign last Sunday and will be keen to turn things around as quickly as possible against the always useful Beddo.

One of our longest standing fixtures, we’ve played each other 18 times since 2007, and on a number of occasions had a home and away match as well. It was also for a short time our opening game of the year’s campaign.

For those looking to break records on Sunday, there hasn’t been a centurion in the past 18 encounters between the clubs. The last 5fer came courtesy of Sean Gardner from Beddington a few years ago, which remains his career best figures.

Beddington have prevailed in our past two meetings, including last year’s 120-run victory, a result TOCC will surely be wanting to reverse at the first opportunity.

Scout report
Beddo one to watch:
Sam Beech. Will have good memories of playing us last year having taken 3-2 from two overs. He has already taken 2-14 opening the bowling against Worcester Park. Worcester Park would prevail in that particular contest.
