Almost exactly a year ago we followed up our Hampshire introductory session by turning up for the IBM Hursley Festival with nobody having any idea what to expect. We threw together some winter nets and then we were into the season proper. The work that the ladies put in immediately started to pay off. After 1 friendly and 4 festivals, the last being at the Ageas Bowl, Trojans Tribe are fully part of Hampshire's W10 Social, playing good cricket and to all outward appearances, loving it!
Everyone has worked really hard to develop skills, but also importantly, there is now an understanding and love of the game, to the extent that some have to channel the adrenaline! This has brought some wins, many great games and it is bringing a bright future.
Well done Ladies, roll on the winter nets and indoor festivals!
