Derbyshire Veterans Cup Draw Made!
Chief Vet Shaun Astbury-Grocutt relishes Cup game after firtst round draw and decleares: "I'm glad that all my hard work is finally paying off!!"
In addition to the forthcoming “Tupton & Matlock Veterans” fixtures against a combined Chesterfield & Dronfield Vets side listed below:
- Wed 19th Feb 2014 18.30hrs at Chesterfield Panthers RUFC
- Wed 16th April 2014 18.30hrs at Matlock RUFC
Tupton RUFC Vets have been drawn against Dronfield Vets in the 2014 Derbyshire RFU Veterans Cup. The game will be played prior to 31st March 2014. The winners take on either Amber Valley or Buxton in the semi-final.
Clearly this is a big game for the ‘less youthful’ and ‘more mature player’ and I’m sure will be great fun for all involved.
Members of Tupton RUFC Executive Committee (Veterans) will be meeting shortly and will share further information with you nearer to the date.
