A disappointing result against Teddington B’s away at Bushy Park this afternoon, going down 17-7 to our local rivals.

Teddington were a very physical team and before we knew it we were 12 points down. We grew into the game and had some good possession, but too often our decision making or discipline let us down and we couldn’t convert our good possession into tries.

Instead it was Teddington who scored next and went in 17-0 at the break. The change in personnel in the second half led to our best passage of play. From a penalty on the half way line Dan was able to find touch deep into Teddington’s 22. We secure good ball from the resulting line out and got the ball to Dan in space. He was able to fend off the Teddington defenders and get over for our one try of the game.

He was also able to make the conversion and was unsurprisingly the overwhelming pick for Players’ MoTM. Teddington picked Jack as our best player today for his tenacious tackling and running with the ball.
