The Selkies got their first league victory with a storming performance at east Kilbride, claiming a 56-0 win in a10 try display.
It was a quick start for the Selkies with Carlin crossing the line for the opening try after only 2 minutes. 6 minutes later it was Hancock who doubled the lead before adding her second on 18 minutes to push the Selkies into a 15 point lead.
Sophie Byers was the next to score for the Selkies with Cat Hopkins also getting in on the act on 32 minutes for the 5th try of the afternoon and a 25-0 lead which they took into the break.
The second half saw a real display of teamwork and cohesion as the Selkies added 5 more tries to their tally, and 3 successful conversion.
Second half scoring honours went to McEwan (2), Scahill (2), Tennant. Byers and Carlin (2) slotted home the conversions.
This was a huge first league victory for the Selkies and sets them up for next week's hosting of Hamilton. Kick off will be 2pm with match to be played at Lenzie Rugby Club
