Uddingston's Selkies secured their 3rd win of the season with a strong performance against East Kilbride on Sunday.
Having won the reverse fixture back in September, they made it a double, running out 29-5 winners.
The Selkies got off to a promising start, opening the scoring on 17 minutes when Jennifer Scahill crossed for the try. 20 minutes later they doubled their lead, this time Ellie Hancock claimed the honours for a 10-0 half time lead.
The second half saw the Selkies push further ahead on 48 minutes, Sophie Buchanan claiming the try with Cat Hopkins adding the conversion. 8 minutes later when Hancock claimed her second of the afternoon, Hopkins again added the extras to push the Selkies into a 22-0 lead with teh try bonus point secured.
As the match entered the closing stages Hancock was on hand to notch up her hat-trick before the hosts brought proceedings to a close with a consolation try of their own.
The win sees the Selkies sitting 3rd in the table, with 3 league fixtures to play.
Next Sunday, 29 October, the Selkies have a rest weekend before they face Hamilton on the 5th of November at Laigh Bent.
