Biography
Ricky Bawa, often referred to as the "Bus Driver", has been an integral part of the Uddingston first XI over the past 15 years. He has captained the side for much of that time and has formed a lethal new ball opening partnership with Paul Hoffmann. Bawa has skippered Uddy's first XI to Scottish Cup wins in 2010 and 2011 and has represented Uddingston in over 200 SNCL league matches. Opposition batsmen could be forgiven for mistaking Bawa as nothing more than a 55mph pie-chucker, but his guile and impeccable accuracy has undone many professional overseas players. While he may be no spring chicken in the field, Bawa brings plenty of experience and a cool head in tense situations.Squad
