Due to issues with changes of bank account, the original 100 Club that was launched so successfully a couple of years ago has fallen on hard times, with only about 30 entrants (it is still worth winning though!).

Therefore, the Sports Club Committee has decided to give it another push in order to boost the prize money. The aim is as follows:
- to get a total of 50 members signed up via standing order by May this year. If this occurs then May's draw will see 100% of the money given away as prizes.
- that would mean (with just 50 members) a cracking first prize of £125, a second prize of about £62, a third prize of approximately £31 and a fourth prize of roughly £16.
- we would then hope to get a total of 100 members signed up via standing order by September this year. If this occurs then September's draw will see 100% of the money given away as prizes.
- that would mean (with 100 members) a huge first prize of £250, a second prize of about £125, a third prize of approximately £62 and a fourth prize of roughly £31.

The draw will be made on the last weekend of each month (or at that month's committee meeting) and prize winners will be announced at the club and via the website or facebook.

Finally, all entrants that have paid cash in the past are now out of credit (by our calculations - if you think that this is wrong then please get in touch). We are now moving to a largely cashless system (standing orders only) so that we can track the 100 club better. The only exceptions will be those wishing to hand over a fiver at the club just before the draw takes place.

That went on for much longer that I thought it would.
