Well done Callum and Hugo for making the county team after all of the trials. Great news for the ever polite and committed Hugo finishing off a great first half of the season having already played for Exeter chiefs.

However Callum's rise to county level is just as impressive having only taken up rugby two years ago. He's improving every week and this shows that the sky is the limit.

Our other Chief, Owen, also made the final list, but as an injury addition having been unable to compete in the final round of the trials.

Well done for all three of the boys who deserve to be very proud of themselves. Sadly two other camels were under the impression that they had made the squad only to be cruelly cut at the final hurdle. The fact that they got this far is something to be very proud of, they need to now follow the role of Joe who was let go in the previous round and has been on a mission to prove the selectors wrong. Use this disappointment to fuel your ambitions lads. Keep working hard and show the county what they missed. You should aim to make the squad next year.
