Waikiwi copped a hiding from Te Anau on Saturday at Donovan Park.

Both teams had been struggling for form in recent weeks but Te Anau got their act together to win Te Anau 56-7 after leading 35-0 at halftime.

Waikiwi dominated possession for the last 20 minutes but struggled to find a way through the Te Anau defence.

They got there eventually though scoring the last try of the match - if only it was ' last try wins'...

Waikiwi coach Scott Meredith was lost for words after the game.
