Eagles have had a positive pre-season with numbers past the 20 and coach Keith Christie saying its the best squad the club have put together to date.
The 1st run out of the season is this Saturday against Whitley Bay, 2pm KO at Whitley Bay high School and the squad is looking to put into practice all the efforts of recent training sessions.
This game will be good prep for the eagles 1st league game against Jarrow Vikings on sat 26th (home) which is considered one of our toughest tests in the season.
