With January over and New Year resolutions intact, well, for some of us, anyway, the time for Open Age pre season training draws nearer.

The first session will be at The Parks Leisure Centre, North Shields on Wednesday 1st March, as the Eagles start their preparations to avenge a disappointing end to the 2016 season. Everyone is welcome and it is hoped that new and old faces will be in attendance.

Front Rower, Austin Phillps commented "It will be good to see the boys again after a few months off. A lot of us were hurt by the Grand Final loss and it is up to the players and the staff to put that right. I can't wait to get started and rip in"

It is often said the these forthcoming dark, cold and damp nights lay the foundation for summer of glory. The Eagles will know what is expected of them and will work hard to ensure that the right attitude, structure and processes are put in place.
