Just over five weeks since the original should have been played Walsall Wood and Coalville Town will be hoping their third round tie goes ahead on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm)
With the weather having turned noticeably colder over the past couple of days, at least it has been dry, and hopefully the Coalville pitch has dried out sufficiently in order to the get the game played.
The Wood suffered more frustration at the weekend with their scheduled home game against league-leaders, Harborough Town, being postponed because of a waterlogged pitch but their opponents warmed up in fine style winning a seven goal thriller at Redditch United 4-3.
On the scoresheet twice was the division`s leading goalscorer Tim Berridge who took his tally for the season to fifteen and the Ravens now sit in tenth position in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central.
It`s a tough task for the Wood who will be without several players because of injury and suspension but Manager Ian Long is relishing the game and looking forward to it.
The winners of this tie then travel to Bath City in the fourth round, in a game that is scheduled for this coming Saturday 13th January.
