The car park outside the club is relatively large, however spaces can fill up quite quickly close to kick off. If you would like a space close the the ground, please arrive early.

Walsall Wood return home this weekend as they welcome recently relegated Long Eaton United to the John Sylvester Stadium.

The Wood were victorious on their travels in midweek as a brace each from Sam Unitt and Kaiman Anderson contributed to a dominant 4-0 victory over Shepshed Dynamo.

Meanwhile, Long Eaton have not played since last weekend where three goals in the second half secured a dominant victory against rock-bottom Lye Town.

Long Eaton currently sit fifth in the table having not lost since the opening day of the season where they dropped points away at Wellingborough Town and have the joint-top goalscorer in the league in Evan Garnett. He joins Kaiman Anderson as they both sit on eight goals each.

Previewing the game, Ian Long looked forward to testing himself against not only Long Eaton but also some of the other tougher tests in the division.

He said: “They’ve also got the joint-leading goalscorer in their ranks. They’re a good side by all accounts [and] it’ll be a tough game.

Our fixtures get quite tough over the next month. We play some of the sides that you’d expect to be up the top end of the table in Anstey, Quorn and Long Eaton. It’ll be interesting to see how we go against some of the better sides in the league and I’m quite looking forward to that.”
