The last tournament of the summer in the new U12 age group saw the Panthers win the trophy that they won last year too, beating the same Chipstead team in the final that they beat in the final last year.

3 wins and 1 draw in the group stages, scoring 13 excellent goals saw Panthers top their group with a 1 goal difference advantage over Chipstead

With both Panthers and Chipstead winning their semi finals an eagerly waited final was to follow which had to wait for half an hour for the rain to subside before it could get going.

As expected a closely fought contest saw both teams having chances but with two very good goalkeepers on show half time came with the score still 0-0

Panthers then scored straight from second half kick off with the ball knocked forward early for a close range well taken goal

The rest of the half saw some really excellent defensive play and counter attacking against an Elite team to see the Panthers deservedly hold on for a victory
