We have lost the services of Olu Akinsanya as he has been tempted to try his luck with Wingate & Finchley who are currently in a relegation position in the premier division. Their manager, the former Ware player Spencer Knight, clearly needs someone who knows where the goal is to counteract a minus 13 goal difference.

It's bad news for Ware who would have seen Olu as a key member of a team pushing for the premier division themselves. However, we lost all our top three goal scorers at the end of last season and survived happily so we are confident of finding our way out of this situation as well.

Olu played 18 competitive games for the club and scored 18 goals equally divided between league and cup matches. We wish him well.
