We are pleased to announce the signing of Renée Howe who joins from Bedford Town. He should need no introduction to Ware fans as he scored against us twice last season, once in each of the two league meetings, part of his total of thirty three goals for the season. We'll forgive him that if he can find the net for us with equal regularity.

Renée has had a wide ranging career with too many clubs to mention in full although Peterborough United, Rochdale, Gillingham, Torquay United, Burton Albion and Kettering Town feature prominently in his CV. In all he has scored over 200 goals in more than 600 appearances, nearly 250 of which were in the Football League.

There is no news on whether he will make his debut in Tuesday's friendly at Maldon & Tiptree but hopefully next Saturday's home game with Potters Bar will give Blues fans a chance to see him in action.
