With December on the doorstep waiting to be let in we welcome Kidlington to Wodson Park with both sides anxious for league points. Ware are looking to consolidate what is turning into a good run whilst Kidlington have picked up after a disappointing start to the season. They are still in the bottom four but they too are on something of a run and will want to build on that.

Whilst Paul Halsey’s programme notes are in praise of the current squad he loses Sam Mayuma for two Saturdays as the young man and his family observe a period of mourning for his recently deceased father. We extend our condolences to Sam.

It will also be Jack Dreyer’s last game before he leaves the country. He is expected to return but we could do with a player in his current form. Seemingly his time with Hitchin Town at Step 3 has made a difference.

Still here though is Fred Burbidge who will be making his one hundredth appearance for the first team on Saturday. Paul offers words of praise for the keeper in the programme and you can do the same when he takes the field on Saturday.

Sunday at the Park sees two league games with the under-18s facing London Lions at 10am and the under-17s meeting May & Baker at Midday. A reminder that all youth team results, fixtures and tables are available in the programme. A reminder too, that entry to these youth games is free with the club room and tea bar open throughout.
