We have started to pick up some momentum and will be travelling to Bell Close with a degree of expectation though hopefully wary of over confidence.

There’s not a lot to go on this early in the season but for the record Leighton have taken only one point from their three league games so far and lie sixteenth in the table. They lost 4-2 at home to Enfield on Monday and by 3-0 at Flackwell Heath on Saturday. Their point came from a 1-1 home draw with Biggleswade.

Last season we gained a league double over The Reds by comfortable margins with Stef Georgiou scoring in both matches, the first of which at Bell Close was his debut for the senior team.

This game was originally scheduled for December 26th but we have taken the opportunity of a blank Saturday to bring it forward to maintain the early season impetus and to give you a chance to spend Boxing Day at home with your family.
