And so to 2025 and the visit of Hertford Town for the 103rd league game between the two sides. Earlier this season we had a comfortable win at Hertingfordbury Park but can hardly expect Hertford to be so out of sorts as they were then.

We have gone eight games undefeated but it’s been a bit of a slog and Hertford have been hard to beat in their last four games. Both sides would like a win to cement their current form meaning that we should see a good contest that could go either way. Hertford’s Roman Chapps, soon to be 18years of age, has appeared nine times this season whilst 19-year-old Gabriel has made 13 appearances for Ware mostly from the subs bench but he has notched a couple of goals in doing so. I don’t expect Paul Halsey or Ben Herd to select their teams with that in mind but you just might see history made.
