Berkhamsted come to Wodson Park hot on the heels of Real Bedford, our last visitors. They’re hot on their heels in terms of the promotion race as well. They are the two sides most likely to be contesting the one automatic promotion place come the end of the season. We can’t expect an easy game on Saturday.

That said, until this season’s away match, we had never lost a league game against Berkhamsted. Has the spell been broken by that 2-0 defeat or can we get back to “normal” and dent their promotion aspirations?

One way or another we always seem to be missing players either injured or unavailable for other reasons and whilst that is something all clubs face it just seems more apparent for us this season. We also seem unable to convert the chances we create which is probably the more worrying issue. Can we remedy that on Saturday?

There is just one youth game at the Park on Sunday with the under-14s meeting Dunstable Town at 10am. The club room and tea bar will be open throughout and, of course, entry is free.
