Our next two away games see us off to Oxfordshire starting with a visit to North Leigh. The Miller's best years are currently behind them and after pipping us for promotion to Step 3 at the end of 2021/2 they now look in real danger of dropping to Step 5.

Our 4-0 home victory earlier this season has helped put them in that position but it was a strange game in which their early work put them on top. A goal then might have undermined our later turn round. With home advantage they may again cause us problems though team changes may make a difference. Only five of their squad from that game appeared in their last league outing.

Paul Halsey will be expecting his side to build on last week’s win over play-off hopefuls Flackwell Heath and start a run of good results. I’m unaware of any specific injury problems beyond Gabriel Chapps’ hamstring and Jack Grosvenor’s groin so we could see essentially the same side as played last Saturday.

Jack is already through the three week recovery period that was thought necessary so may be on the bench. He will be keen to get on as he has scored in both of our last two meetings with the Millers. Of the six previous meetings each side has scored two wins. Can we get ahead in the count?

Our referee will be Mr Nathanael Wormleighton and his assistants are Andrew Bower and James Curran.

There are two youth games on Sunday. Starting at 10am the under-15s meet table topping Colney Heath for league points whilst at midday the under-16s take on Ryan in the League Plate. As always, entry is free and the clubroom and tea bar will be open throughout.
