The club are now seeking volunteers for a number of roles within.
Match reporter -
This position is primarily for the 1st team - but also required would be volunteers for 2nd & 3rd XV
Tasks - to watch team games both home and away, takes notes & record try/goal scorers (along with times), to compile a full match report to be posted on clubs official website. Also - possibly perform brief interview with player/coach post-match in order to add to match report.
Club photographer
Tasks - to take official photos on match days (both home and away) primarily for 1st XV. To compile/create albums for each game to be uploaded on clubs official website.
May also be required to take photos at official club events (eg - Presidents' Day)
Social/events organiser:
Tasks - to set up an events/social team. To put on different club events throughout the season (club fundraisers) and team social events.
Events to be costed, agreed with club officials & dates booked/agreed with clubhouse/venue.
As stated above - all these roles are on a voluntary basis - they are not paid positions.
We seek individuals who are going to be committed to the role.
Access to the website will be granted to reporters/photographer - but you will also be required to send copies/drafts of ALL content to Rich Rainger/Amy Kiernan before posting.
