Warton travelled to Heysham on 10th June for the quarter final of the 20/20. It was a wet night with Finney winning the toss and asking Heysham to bat first. What followed was a procession of wickets and a comfortable win as Phil Savage (20/20 specialist) as he did in the last round bowled beautifully bowling wicket to wicket and claiming 4 wickets. Heysham finished on 72-9 as Thissy and Ryan Nelson opened as the dark clouds loomed. Both lads batted sensibly and picked off the runs in 11 overs to see Warton through to finals day at Carnforth.
