Following successful fundraising efforts at the 30th Anniversary dance and the recent visit by Lugi Lions, WD were happy to present a donation of £500, to our charity partners at St Andrews Hospice, Airdrie.
Hospice Community & Events Fundraiser, Lorrett McCutcheon, welcomed Jake Wilson(President), Siobhan Brown (Vice President) and Niall Gartshore (Secretary), to the Hospice and she was happy to outline all the services available through the Hospice organisation, whilst giving a guided tour of the building. Lorrett was delighted with our fundraising efforts and explained that they were more reliant on events like this due to recent national cuts in support.
Following this, discussion was undertaken which will see WD continue in their support of St Andrews Hospice, in the future.
