A very strong performance saw Welwyn quickly take the lead and with solid ball carrying and excellent interplay across the team eventually running in 7 unanswered tries in the first half.

Welwyns attacking lines were again strong in the second half and they started where they left off running hard and with good support play. Welwyn's defensive line speed made it difficult for Havant to play the ball with any control.

Havant kept going despite the Welwyn onslaught and picked up a consolation try late on.
