Sydney, who now plays for Bristol, was a member of the Hertfordshire and London and South East U15 and U18 teams. She made her England Sevens debut in Moscow in 2014, and was in the England team that won the European U18s Sevens Championship in Sweden. She won her first England U20 cap in France in January 2014.
