West Chilt got their second league win of the season in a thrilling contest with TD Shipley. Chilt had a strong squad of 14 players available, which included recent signing Jordan Peskett.

Chilt took the lead from a great counter attack, Dave Williams threw the ball out to Craig Pulling who strode forward for 40 yards and then released Gary Weedon. Weedon cut inside and finished cooly. Weedon added a second shortly after with a great strike from 20 yards. 2-0 HT.

Chilt got a third when Whittaker finished from close range. TD Shipley came back into the game with a good header from a pinpoint cross. They followed this up with a slightly scrambled goal that really should have been dealt with by Chilt. With a couple of minutes remaining TD Shipley equalised after a good turn and finish from their substitute. At this point most people thought a draw would be the outcome. However, Craig Dawson played a cross field ball to Ash Hills who cut inside and unleashed a wonder strike from 25 yards into the top corner. Cue big celebrations from Chilt.
