To help make the event as successful as possible can all of the youth team coaches be asked to get their teams along for training on the morning of the 12th to increase numbers attending the fair. It will start at 1pm but we would also appreciate it if each team would be able to provide four volunteers to support the event.
We are doing it slightly differently this year in that we have identified the stalls and volunteers will be asked to support the stalls rather than having to set up their own. Each team who contributes will then share a proportion of the proceeds made on the day with the remainder going to the club.
We would also ask that each team makes a contribution to each of the stalls and therefore we are asking for donations to be made for each of the following stalls;
christmas craft stall
cake stall; any cakes, buns, biscuits etc
tombola; we need a variety of tombola prizes
raffle - we are aiming to put a hamper together and any other prizes / donations for the raffle would be gratefully received
Book / DVD stall; any books and DVD's which are in good condition
bottle stall; any bottle, this can be ketchup, bubble bath, wine - essentially any bottle plus spare bottle bags which the prizes can be put in
chocolate stall / raffle; in the same way as many schools have a chocolate donation, we would like any chocolate donations for the stall where each ticket wins a prize
We are hoping for a better attendance this year and therefore please encourage teams to have a fun training session so they can come along after they have finished.
