Hi All
Well the football season is in full swing and on the whole I think all the senior teams have got off to a good start with some room for improvement. Look out for the latest fixtures posted on WWFC social media feeds as all support is welcomed.
One of last month's winners - Barrie Dunning has been in touch with the 300 club office and provided us with a welcome update;
"I played between 1972/73 and 1985/86 mainly in the third/fourth team, training with Eric Freeman, until I got a bad ankle injury. Very occasionally I still wander over to watch the first team."
Let's hope it wasn't Eric's training methods that caused the injury. Medicine balls and weighted baked bean tins wouldn't pass H&S laws these days.
As we all turn our thoughts to Xmas, don't forget that there is still time to increase your membership, introduce new members or even gift membership in a family member's name. Imagine the look of joy on Xmas day when someone you love unwraps a WWFC 300 club membership. Drop me an email for further details.
Right onto this month's winners. And another blast from the WWFC past has scooped top prize this month. He used to terrorise opposition defences back in the day racking up many goals and running off with 6th team player of the season on a regular basis. Well done Rupert.
And runner up is JK again!!
