The A team took the court after the B team game, keen to perform against OCs A, where they narrowly claimed victory the last time they met. As the game got underway it was clear that this would be a closely fought contest. The first quarter was a mix of fast play, and steady interceptions, and as it finished, both teams were level. The second quarter saw some great tactical drives in the shooting circle by Anna Gould and Clodagh Mulcahy, to create space and opportunities for goal scoring. Vandals defence pairing of Kate Keepax and Tori Ballerino proved successful with opportunities to turn the ball over in our favour. However hard Vandals tried, OCs kept coming back. The 3rd quarter proved difficult with Vandals, with small errors creating opportunities for the opposition but we pulled it back to finish the quarter leading by one.

OC ' s however proved to be the fitter team, pulling ahead in the last quarter, as Vandals gave every last bit of their strength. The final score finished 30 to 37 in favour of OCs, putting Weybridge Vandals 3rd, in the league. Vandals Player of the match went to Victoria Ballerino who put in a sterling performance as GD.
