This Saturday we welcome competitive football back for the first team. The team host Wivenhoe Town at Burroughs park for a 3pm kick off. Tickets will be available on the door. Due to the social distancing measures we have put in place please arrive 15 minutes before kick off.

The game will be a good test for Ensign facing one of the favourites for the league title week one. Speaking to Manager Brett this week he feels “this one of the tougher opening games, having two close games last season & Wivenhoe having a great pre season. Ensign will need to be at their best to get a positive result Saturday. In May Wivenhoe will be at the top end of the table any team above them has a good chance to win the league. Also since I took charge I haven’t won an opening day fixture, hopefully I change that this year”

On Friday night our reserve team start their ESL journey away to Harlow Town.
