Wick welcomed Eastbourne Borough to Crabtree Park in the Sussex Senior Cup for a place in the Quarter Finals where the winners would face Hastings.

Eastbourne Borough who were four leagues above the hosts went into half time leading by two goals.

A game which was very much of two halves resulted in the Dragons coming out for the second half which resulted in Josh Irish scoring from the spot, after James Thurgar was fouled. The remainder of the game saw Eastbourne Borough become very nervous and held on for a much needed win, following their indifferent start to the season. The Dragons can feel proud but also slightly disappointed their efforts didn’t result in finding a deserved equaliser.

Lee Baldwin’s team will now face Arundel on Saturday 9th December which should be a great game of football
