Four wins from five, as only the fifths failed to grasp victory this week. They lost by 7 wickets to a strong Thornbury side, despite another half century from Richard Moller. He has now passed 650 runs for the season. There were 2 wickets for Ollie Howell.
The fours won a nail biter against Frampton. Chasing 236 for victory after James Lab and Jars took 3 wickets each, Shane Henley was the cornerstone of the reply with a fine 88. However, things got a bit tight at the end - until that man Jarman smashed a six in the last over to clinch victory.
The thirds cruised past Coalpit Heath thanks to an unbeaten century from Frosty. Rob Corin got 82 and there was a half century for Browner in a total of 278-3. Lewis then took 3 wickets as the home side finished on 157-6.
The seconds beat Hambrook with strong showings from the Hamid brothers. Zak scored 81 and Sami 44* in a total of 235-9. Sami then grabbed 3 wickets, as did Glynner - as Hambrook were dismissed for 104.
The firsts won at Congresbury thanks to 62 from CT and some useful runs from the tail. Set 226 to win the home side were rocking at 43-6 until an admirable 100 run seventh wicket partnership made things interesting. In the end 3 wickets each from George and Scouse were enough to claim the win.
Two games to go. Lots to play for.
