On Saturday morning Wirral U14's travelled to Tameside to play in the league.
Wirral started very well and looked by far the better team. They were able to show this by getting a goal when Aaron Rainbow-Adams played the ball over the top to George Nugent. George then carried the ball down the line and played it into Liam Atherton to score just inside 3 minutes.
Wirral had a great half but we're just unable to convert the chances they had created.
HALFTIME: Tameside 0-1 Wirral
After the halftime break Wirral started very well and they wanted to make sure that they scored more this half. Liam Atherton, Frankie ward and Tommy Taffe were all able to combine to get Wirral's second goal when Tommy slotted the ball past the keeper. Straight after Wirral scored their second goal they got their third as George placed the ball past the keeper. The game was over at this point but Liam Kelly was able to get his first goal and Wirral's last when he smashed the ball past the keeper.
FINAL SCORE: Tameside 0-4 Wirral
