Fantastic news for the club, as Paul Mackintosh and his team agree to join Wolstanton United to help further develop the club with the formation of a Reserve Team.

Paul brings his vast managerial experience to the club following eight years as Manager of Market Drayton Tigers in the Staffs County Senior League First Division.

Following agreement with the Staffs County Senior League, Paul's Wolstanton Reserves will also play in the Staffs County Senior League First Division for the coming season.

Below are Paul thoughts on joining Wolstanton United and the future ahead: -

It’s a really exciting time to be joining Wolstanton United FC and to be tasked with setting up and establishing a Reserves team for the coming season. Wolstanton is a club I know well and has a great history and reputation in local grassroots football. Having had 8 good years at Market Drayton Tigers now is the right time to bring the core of lads who’ve never let me down across to WUFC and continue to build something that we are all proud of. Can’t wait to get going, there’s a really exciting future ahead for Wolstanton United.
