On Saturday we were given the devastating news that our Chairman Doug Walker had sadly passed away after bravely battling Leukemia.

Doug a life long friend of owner Mark has been involved with Sporting for nearly 2 decades all the way back to when we were originally called Heathtown Rangers FC where Doug helped guide us to back to back promotions in what was then the West Midland Regional League.

Before this afternoons fixture against Heath Hayes we held a minutes silence in honour of our chairman.
