Woodford Green CC is one of the oldest clubs in the U.K if not the world, with cricket being played at "The Green" since 1735. We currently field 3 Senior Saturday XI sides playing in Shepherd Neame
ESSEX Cricket League and 2 Sunday friendly teams playing all season. We welcome players of all ages and abilities and aim to provide cricketing opportunities to everyone all year round, including Winter Indoor league cricket.

We also have a thriving colts section with teams of U9, U11, U13 & U15s playing indoor and outdoor cricket throughout the year. The club provides coaching and indoor nets during winter at local schools and has strong links within the community encouraging children to join the club. The club is continually creating new links with local schools and other community groups with a view to creating new partnerships. As of 2013 the club was also awarded the ECB Clubmark Accreditation.
