Familiar faces oppose Reds

There will be plenty of familiar faces in the opposition line-up as Matt Henney brings his Penrith side to Borough Park for the latest pre-season outing tonight (7.30pm). It will be Reds’ last home game before the season proper gets underway in a fortnight.

Penrith have scored plenty of goals during their six match build-up and will be keen to repeat their 1-0 victory over Reds twelve months ago.

Derek Townsley has a near full squad available with the exception of Alex Salmon. There will be no Steven Logan in the squad, though, with the midfielder told after Saturday’s game he wouldn’t be kept on.

After tonight, Reds conclude the pre-season campaign with away games at Consett, Kendal Town and Lancaster City.
