Dabbers in town
The League’s top scorers visit Borough Park for Evo-Stik Premier Division action with Reds hoping to keep Nantwich Town’s potent attack at bay.
The Dabbers have scored 45 league goals already this term and their fifteen league matches have produced an incredible 72 in total.
Could there be a repeat of last season’s goalless draw at Borough Park? It would seem unlikely but both teams would probably settle for such an outcome at this stage of the season.
Nantwich have scored six on two occasions and put seven past struggling Ramsbottom United.
There will be no Aaron Taylor in the Reds squad tomorrow despite a seven day notice of approach for the Lancaster City front man. Another First Division North club have registered a seven day approach so that matter hasn’t been resolved.
There will be changes to the team, though, as Phil McLuckie will miss his first game of the season as he serves his one match suspension.
Last season, it finished 0-0 at Borough Park but Reds won the return 3-2 at the Weaver Stadium.
Kick-off 3pm.
