Birmingham bound
Reds face another 400 mile round trip on Saturday as they resume Evo-Stik Premier Division action at Sutton Coldfield Town (3pm).
They make their fourth trip of the season to the Birmingham area having already visited Halesowen Town, Rushall Olympic and Stourbridge. It will be a first ever visit to Town’s Central Ground where the game will be played on a 3G surface.
Derek Townsley will travel with a depleted squad as suspensions (Gari Rowntree, Conor Tinnion and Jonny Murray) and unavailability, restrict his options.
Some of the reserve team squad were registered after the mid-week fixture with the possibility of one of them making the bench.
The two teams shared a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the season with Justin Richards and Scott Allison the respective scorers. Both teams would probably settle for a similar result from this mid-table clash.
John Walsh will be back on duty for Radio Cumbria, providing interviews and updates, while the Live Scoreboard facility will be operated by Paul Armstrong via the website.
There is adequate parking space available at Coles Lane (postcode: B72 1NL).
